Dental IT support for dental and orthodontic offices.

Practice software, imaging, servers and operatory networks kept running, with one team for both the IT and the cabling.

For dental offices, at a glance
Typical practice
1 to 4 doctors, 3 to 12 operatories
What we see most
Practice management software, imaging sensors, an on-site server
Safeguards
HIPAA-aligned, documented, reviewed quarterly
Help desk hours
Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm
On-site work
Operatory cabling and build-outs scheduled around patients
What we handle

The six things that stop a dental day when they fail.

Practice management software

The system the schedule, the charts and the billing live in, kept patched, backed up and reachable from every operatory and the front desk.

Imaging sensors and workstations

Sensors, panoramic and 3D imaging, and the workstations that drive them. When a sensor stops, the operatory stops. We coordinate with the imaging vendor so you do not have to.

The server and its backup

Most practices still run a server. We size it, rack it, back it up off site and test the restore, so patient records survive anything that happens to the box.

Front desk and patient communication

Phones, email, text reminders and the patient portal, secured so patient information stays inside the practice.

Our crew
Operatory cabling and network

Every operatory wired for the sensor, the monitor and the workstation, with Wi-Fi for the tablets, built by our own licensed crew.

Our crew
New operatories and office build-outs

Adding a chair or opening a second location. Cabling, rack, network and workstations in place before the first patient.

Platforms

What dental offices run on.

We support the systems you already run, and work with each vendor's own support team on the software itself.

A typical engagement

What the first ninety days look like for a practice.

WEEK 1
Assessment

The server, the sensors, the operatory network, the backups, and how the front desk actually works.

WEEK 2
Written plan

Support scope, the safeguards baseline, and any cabling or server work, with one owner at Regent5 IT.

WEEKS 3 TO 6
Onboard and install

Backups running and tested, devices enrolled, vendor contacts collected, operatory cabling fixed where it was failing.

DAY 90
First review

What changed, what is open, and what the next quarter should fix. One page for the practice owner.

Patient records

HIPAA-aligned safeguards, written down.

We do not sell certifications. We do run the safeguards a practice's obligations actually depend on: encrypted devices, multifactor sign-in, access that is removed the day someone leaves, backups that have been tested, and a record of who had access to what. We implement what your compliance partner or consultant asks for and document it.

Questions

Dental offices ask us

What IT does a dental office need?

A reliable server with tested backups, operatory workstations and sensors that are supported, a wired operatory network, encrypted devices, and someone to call when a sensor stops mid-appointment.

Do you support our practice management software?

We support the platforms listed above and the vendor relationship behind them. If yours is not listed, ask.

Can you fix imaging sensor and workstation problems?

Yes. We handle the workstation, the cabling and the driver side, and we coordinate with the imaging vendor for the sensor itself.

Do we need a server in a dental office?

Most practices still do, because practice management and imaging software want one. We size it, rack it and back it up. If yours can move to the cloud, we will say so.

Do you sign Business Associate Agreements?

We settle that during the assessment. Whether an agreement is needed depends on which systems and patient data we would handle, and the answer is put in writing before any work starts.

Can you wire a new operatory or office?

Yes. Regent5 holds C10 and C7 contractor licenses, and our own crew does the cabling, rack and network for new operatories and new locations.
