What we install

The front door, the server room and the view of both.

Our crew
Cameras for offices and practices

Entrances, reception, the server room, the back door. Verkada cameras that record to the cloud and are viewed from a browser or a phone.

Our crew
Door access with badges and phones

Suite doors and interior rooms unlocked by badge or phone, with schedules, and access that is removed the day someone leaves.

Our crew
Visitor management and intercoms

A visitor presses a button, reception sees who it is and lets them in, and there is a record of who came and went.

Cabling, power and mounting

Every camera and reader on its own cable back to the rack, on its own network segment, installed and permitted by a licensed contractor.

Managed with your IT

Who can view footage, who can unlock which door, how long video is kept. Set up once, reviewed each quarter, changed the day a role changes.

Leased offices

We work to the landlord's rules on doors, ceilings and risers, and we produce the drawings the building asks for.

How it goes in

From site visit to the first badge.

01
Site visit

Every door and sightline, the existing hardware, and what the landlord allows.

02
Design and quote

Camera and reader positions on a drawing, the cabling plan, and the hardware list. Quoted per site.

03
Install

Our crew runs the cabling, mounts cameras and readers, and wires the door hardware. Permitted where required.

04
Set up and hand over

Accounts, permissions, schedules and retention configured. Your office manager learns the app in twenty minutes.

Why it matters

Installed under our license, managed by our IT team.

Cameras and door access are low voltage work, and in California that means a licensed contractor. Regent5, LLC holds C10 and C7 contractor licenses and an alarm company operator license, ACO 7798. The same company's IT team then manages the accounts, the permissions and the network the system sits on. For the brand detail behind the platform, see Regent5's Verkada page.

Straight talk

Three things that decide the cost.

Door count and door hardware

Each controlled door needs a reader and usually new lock hardware. Glass doors and old frames cost more than a standard suite door.

Cloud or on-site recording

Cloud cameras are simpler to manage and view from anywhere. On-site recording suits a few specific cases. We recommend cloud for most offices.

What is already there

Existing cabling and an existing system can sometimes be reused. We check before we quote, and we will say if a takeover is the wrong call.

Questions

About cameras and access control

What drives the cost of an access control system?

The number of doors, the lock hardware each door needs, the cabling runs and the platform licensing. We quote after a site visit.

Cloud or on-site recording: which is better?

Cloud for most offices. It is simpler to manage, viewable from anywhere and does not depend on a recorder in a closet. On-site recording suits a few specific needs.

Can employees unlock doors with their phones?

Yes. Phones, badges or both, with schedules per person and access removed the day someone leaves.

Can you install in a leased office?

Yes. We work to the landlord's rules and produce the drawings the building asks for. Most suite installs need no change to the building's own system.

Who can view our camera footage?

Only the people you name. Permissions are set per person, reviewed each quarter, and changed the day a role changes.

Can you take over an existing camera system?

Sometimes. Existing cabling is often reusable; older cameras and recorders usually are not. We check on site and say which it is.
