Executive home IT support, from the team that handles the office.

For the partners, founders and principals we already support at work. The home network, the family's devices, the link back to the office, and someone to call who already knows you.

Who this is for

Three situations we see most.

The partner who works from home two days a week

The home office needs the same security and the same access as the firm, without the firm's IT ever touching the family's devices.

The founder whose house has become a second office

Meetings from the study, a network that drops during the board call, and nobody responsible for any of it.

The family with too many devices and no one to call

Laptops, phones, tablets, a home server, cameras at the gate. One number, one person who knows the house.

What we take care of

The house, the devices and the line to the office.

Regent5 has installed networks, lighting and AV in Peninsula and Silicon Valley homes for over 15 years. The IT division adds the support layer.

Home network

Wi-Fi that covers the whole property, a rack that is labelled, and a guest network that keeps visitors off the family's devices.

Devices

Laptops, phones and tablets set up, backed up and kept current. The children's devices handled with the rules you set.

The link to the office

Secure access to the firm's systems from home, with multifactor sign-in and a device the firm can trust.

Cameras and gate access

Installed and permitted by Regent5's own crew, then supported like everything else.

The house staff

A household manager or assistant gets the access they need, and no more, with a clean handover when staff change.

One number

Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm, and 24/7 remote support for households on service agreements.

How it works

Quietly.

01
A walkthrough

One visit to see the house, the rack and the devices. You get a written picture of what is there and what we would change.

02
A short agreement

What is covered, who may call, and how we reach you. No long document, no surprises.

03
The same team, every time

A small team that already knows the house and, usually, the office. Discretion is the default, not a feature.

From the office to the house

Most private clients start as office clients.

A managing partner or a founder asks whether we can look at the house. The answer is yes, with the same people, the same standards and a separate agreement so the firm's IT and the family's stay apart. For a full smart home, lighting or AV project, Regent5's residential team on regent5.com takes over and we support what they build.

Questions

Private clients ask us

Do you only work with people you already support at the office?

Mostly, and usually by referral. If you are not an office client, call and we will talk about whether it is a fit.

Will the firm see anything on our home devices?

No. The home agreement is separate from the office agreement. The link to the office covers only the access the firm has approved.

Who comes to the house?

The same small team each time, from San Carlos. For installation work, Regent5's own crew, who are employees, not subcontractors.

Can you install cameras and gate access?

Yes. Regent5 holds C10 and C7 contractor licenses and installs and permits that work itself.

What are the hours?

Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm. Households on service agreements have 24/7 remote support.

Where do you go?

San Francisco, the Peninsula, Silicon Valley, the East Bay and southern Marin.

Let's talk about your office.

Thirty minutes on site. You get a written picture of your network, devices and rooms, whether or not you hire us.
