Law Firms

IT services for law firms in the Bay Area.

Document systems that open, email that is actually secure, remote access that works from court, and a help desk that answers partners by name. For firms of two to fifty attorneys.

What we handle

The six things a law office needs from IT.

Document and practice systems

The platforms your matters live in, kept patched, backed up and reachable from every desk and every courtroom.

Secure email and sign-in

Multifactor sign-in, email filtering and encryption for client correspondence, set up once and enforced for everyone.

Remote and hybrid work

Attorneys work from home, from court and from the client's office. The firm's files follow them without leaving the firm's control.

Onboarding and departures

A new associate works on day one. A departing one loses access the same hour, with a record of what they had.

Our crew
Office moves and build-outs

Cabling, Wi-Fi, conference rooms and door access for new space, built by our own licensed crew, often on a weekend.

Our crew
Conference rooms that work

Depositions, client meetings and remote hearings on rooms that start on time, with the cabling behind the wall.

Platforms

What law firms run on.

We support the systems you already run, and work with each vendor's own support team on the software itself.

A typical engagement

What the first ninety days look like for a firm.

WEEK 1
Assessment

Network, devices, the document system, backups, and how attorneys actually work from outside the office.

WEEK 2
Written plan

Support scope, the security baseline, and any installation, with one owner at Regent5 IT.

WEEKS 3 TO 6
Onboard and install

Multifactor sign-in everywhere, backups running, devices enrolled, rooms and cabling built by our crew.

DAY 90
First review

What changed, what is open, and what the next quarter should fix. One page for the managing partner.

Confidentiality

Client confidentiality is a practice, not a badge.

We do not sell compliance certifications. We do run the controls a firm's duty of confidentiality actually depends on: multifactor sign-in, encrypted devices, access that is removed the day someone leaves, backups that have been tested, and a record of who had access to what. If your firm needs a formal audit program, we will say so and point you to the right partner.

A law office move, start to finish.

[Replace with a real project: firm size, what was built (cabling, Wi-Fi, conference room, door access), what was migrated, and how long the office was down. No client name unless approved.]

Questions

Law firms ask us

Can attorneys work securely from home and from court?

Yes. Remote access is set up so the firm's files stay in the firm's systems, with multifactor sign-in and encrypted devices.

Do you know our document management system?

We support the platforms listed above and the vendor relationship behind them. If yours is not listed, ask.

Can you move our office without losing a working day?

Usually, yes. Our own crew runs cabling, Wi-Fi and rooms in the new space before the move, often over a weekend.

What happens when an attorney leaves?

Access is removed the same day, devices are collected or wiped, and you get a record of what that person had.

What are your support hours?

Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm. Firms on service agreements have 24/7 remote support.

How small a firm will you take?

Two attorneys with staff is a good fit. The stakes are the same as at a larger firm.
